Computer Techniques Engineering Department (Established in 2004)
The Department of Computer Technology Engineering is one of the modern and pioneering scientific departments in the field of technical engineering, as it is concerned with studying a specialization in computer technology engineering to prepare technical engineers with experience and technical skills related to electrical and electronic engineering disciplines to give them the opportunity to work in various sectors inside and outside Iraq, and since the inception of the department, it has been interested in workshops, engineering laboratories and the practical side to emphasize the development of scientific and practical skills for students during the university study phase.
The department accepts graduates of the preparatory school for the scientific branch as well as graduates of the industrial branch according to the rates determined for each academic year.
Graduates of the department are granted a bachelor's degree in computer technology engineering and are entitled to obtain the identity of the Iraqi Engineers Syndicate, as for the number of research papers published for this department, the number of (36) research papers and the department includes (8) teachers for the four stages.

Message
1- Providing students with technical knowledge and skills related to the specialization of computer technology engineering (networks and communications branch) )
2- Strengthening cooperation with different sectors inside and outside the country.
3- Build an integrated leadership personality by teaching them the art of leadership skills, problem solving, commitment to quality and professional behavior. .
4- Providing a working environment for students, faculty and affiliates while adhering to the high professional values of the campus with freedom of expression and generosity in the exchange of information.
Objectives
1- Preparing highly skilled legalization engineers in the field of specialization.
2- Working to enhance performance standards, including the application of international standards in the field of technical education.
3- Keeping abreast of developments in the curriculum.
4- Strengthening ties between the college and various segments of society.
5- Openness and communication with equivalent scientific institutions inside and outside the country.
6- Developing postgraduate programs to include all disciplines in the study

نشاطات قسم هندسة تقنيات الحاسوب 2019-2020
طالب(32 1- عدد الطلاب الخريجين (
2– الترقيات العلمية : ترقية م.م. حيدر رشيد إلى مرتبة مدرس .
3– فعاليات القسم :-
أ- الأشراف على التدريب الصيفي لطلبة المرحلة الثانية والثالثة .
ب- دورة تدريب طلبة المرحلة الأولى على التعلم الكترونياً واستخدام البرامج والصف الإلكتروني .
ج- قيام التدريسيين بعمل ورش عمل وندوات عن طريق التعليم المستمر والتي كان عددها ( 10)
د- قيام التدريسيين بعمل دورات تدريبية مثل
) دورة أوتوكاد متقدمة , Iraq E-learning professional traning program )
ح- نشاطات طلابية رياضية تنافسية بين الأقسام .
4- البحوث المنشورة : تم نشر بحوث في مجلات عالمية وذات معامل تأثير ومؤتمرات داخل وخارج القطر وكان عدد (26) بحث.
5- المناقشات :-
تم مناقشة مشاريع التخرج لطلبة المرحلة الرابعة من قبل لجان في حقل تخصص البحوث .
6- الزيارات الميدانية :-
ا- زيارة معرض الكتاب في معرض بغداد الدولي .
ب- زيارة دار الايتام والمسنين في منطقة الاسكان وتم تقديم مساعدات عينيه .
ج- زيارة دار الحنان لشديدي العوق وتم تقديم مساعات عينيه .
